As the leader of Knowledge Enterprise Web Services, I manage a talented team of expert developers and a digital product portfolio consisting of over 150 websites and research applications. I elevate the university globally via user-centric online experiences and innovative technological solutions. While managing an IT portfolio, I ensure clients are empowered for success by continually improving internal processes and ensuring creative outcomes that support cross-functional activities across diverse business units. Managing the KE web product portfolio involves IT consulting, impeccable communication skills, facilitation across diverse multidisciplinary teams, creation of customized software, digital shipment strategies, product roadmap planning, project management expertise, and outcomes that prioritize user needs while ensuring stakeholder satisfaction and lawful adherence to regulations.
I represent ASU’s Knowledge Enterprise and proactively consult with leaders and managers across the university to foster understanding and increase opportunities for success. My efforts have grown our research application portfolio and increased our web portfolio audience to nearly 5,000,000 annual users. I embrace the culture of innovation at ASU, which has been voted the "most innovative university in the nation," 6 years in a row by the U.S. News and World Report.
As a Faculty Associate at the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering, I teach Digital Workflows and Project Management in the Graphic Information Technology program. I partner with pioneering thinkers and change agents who are creating innovative ways of educating students, preparing workers with modern skills, and nurturing the mindset of lifelong learning. As digital workflows and project management are expansive across many disciplines, teaching provides the opportunity to augment my own learning experiences.
ASU’s student body is proudly diverse. I enjoy the inclusive culture and support the uniqueness of our students’ needs. I approach teaching as a lifelong learner and enjoy problem-solving with students and empowering them with the research skills required to develop their career paths.
