Md. Ashfaque Bin Shafique is a faculty associate in the School for Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University. Among his research interests are areas of studies such as modeling brain dynamics using system identification techniques, stochastic modelling to detect and predict possibilities of seizures, design and implementation of control strategies and deep brain stimulators to prevent epileptic seizures. He has taught a range of courses at ASU, including most recently EEE481: Computer-Controlled Systems.
