Allison Ross studies community-based health promotion with an emphasis on physical activity in schools as a source of children’s health. Guided by a social-ecological framework, her research investigates how individual, environmental, and policy factors affect behavior, and how they collectively impact health and well-being among children. Her current work focuses on active transportation, play, and sport as sources of physical activity affecting individual and community health.
