Carl Hermanns is a clinical professor in the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College at Arizona State University. He teaches classes in leadership and organizational change in the master’s and doctoral programs in the division of educational leadership and innovation. Prior to coming to ASU, Professor Hermanns served as a teacher, principal, and assistant superintendent in California and Oregon public schools. He received his Ed.D. in Administration, Planning, and Social Policy (Urban Superintendents Program) from Harvard University. Professor Hermanns’ research agenda is related to understanding best practices for English language development for English language learners.
