Ayrel Clark-Proffitt is a communications specialist working with the Julie Ann Wrigley Global Futures Laboratory. She collaborates with administrators to create messaging and thought pieces that communicate the vision, research and developments of the Global Futures Laboratory to a wide audience.
Prior to joining the Global Futures Laboratory, Clark-Proffitt led communications and engagement efforts for the University of Utah Sustainability Office from 2012-2021. At the Sustainability Office, she developed co-curricular programming and outreach to deepen awareness and bring more people to the subject area. From 2011-2012, she supported a recycling initiative in Pune, India, and from 2005-2011, she worked as a graphic designer at The Arizona Republic newspaper.
