I earned my PhD in Behavioral Neuroscience in Psychology at ASU in 2019. I am an expert in the cognitive-behavioral and neurobiological impacts of reproductive hormone changes across the lifespan, with an emphasis on menopause.
During my doctoral studies, I earned an NRSA from the National Institute on Aging to develop a novel preclinical model of hysterectomy and evaluate the impact of gynecological surgery on learning and memory.
My postdoctoral research in the Center for Evolution and Medicine focused on endocrine-immune-environmental interactions and social determinants of health with the Tsimane Health and Life History Project.
I am a first-generation college student and long time Sun Devil, having earned dual BAs in Psychology and Spanish as well as a MA in passing in Behavioral Neuroscience during my doctoral studies at ASU.
