Biography

Daniel Haughton is a faculty associate in the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University. He is the manager of Distributed Energy Resource (DER) Integration Engineering group at Arizona Public Service (APS). His group is responsible for identification and implementation of best-in-class strategies to navigate the changing landscape of transmission and distribution grid infrastructure enhancements in the presence of DER. He has taught courses in power systems analysis and protection concepts at ASU since 2014.
