I was born in the Northeast and I’ve happily lived in Arizona for almost two decades (no 9 month winters for me!). I attended Desert Mountain High School in Scottsdale, and then went to Scottsdale Community College for two years before transferring to ASU. I am a two-time Sun Devil with my Bachelor’s degree in English (Creative Writing) and my Master’s degree in Higher and Postsecondary Education.
I started my professional journey at ASU in 2009 as a front desk student worker in the School of Sustainability’s advising office. After I graduated from my undergraduate program, I worked in the Registrar’s Office for a few years before returning to the world of academic advising. During my tenure in SBHSE, I have greatly enjoyed guiding biomedical engineering majors in finding meaningful experiences that will form lasting memories and make positive impact on their professional goals.
