An entrepreneur, business owner, professor, author, and corporate professional, Andrea has had a varied career that spans big business, business ownership, book authorship, and teaching.  In recent years, Andrea has been deeply involved in healthcare services including serving as an executive for a non-profit public health organization where she led a staff of 23 and directing telehealth services for two large hospital systems, including Banner Health and Dignity Health. Andrea consistently delivers measurable results by collaborating with team members to design, develop, and implement complex and technical programs that have strategic impact and are operationally sound. 

At Dignity Health, she managed all aspects of the telehealth solutions for the Arizona Service Area and then, was promoted to initiate telehealth projects for the enterprise.  Andrea’s key telehealth projects include video visits, teleradiology and image transfer solutions, secure messaging, remote patient monitoring, telepsychiatry, rural telehealth implementations and a variety of other clinical innovation projects (like Google Glass for physician productivity.)   At Banner Health, she directed the Banner Health Rural Telehealth Initiative and developed their eVisit program.

Prior to her healthcare experience, Andrea’s background included growing key business initiatives for a large pharmaceutical company, IBM, PriceWaterhouseCoopers, and a Microsoft Solutions partner.  She started and grew a small business that delivered consulting services to organizations including Allied Waste, Maricopa County, the Arizona Department of Transportation, and the City of Phoenix.  Andrea recently completed a post-graduate Certificate in Healthcare Informatics to complement her Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern California where she was a Simonsen Fellow.
