Rui Yin is an Associate Professor in the Department of Supply Chain Management in the W.P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Professor Yin joined ASU in 2007 after receiving her PhD degree in Operations Management from UCLA. Her research focuses on downstream demand management issues in retail operations, including pricing, inventory management and consume behavior; as well as upstream supply management issues such as sourcing and procurement strategies for firms to manage their multi-tier supply chains. Professor Yin has published research papers in Management Science, Production and Operations Management, Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational Research, and International Journal of Production Economics, and she also serves on the editorial board of Journal of Business Logistics.
