Kathleen Waldron

Kathleen Waldron has taught at ASU West since 1993. Her primary focus areas are related to family dynamics. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses on Marriage and the Family; Parenting; Adolescence; Courtship and Marriage; Human Sexuality; Psycholoyg of Aging; Perspectives on Aging (controversies); Communication and Aging; Aging and the Family; Women in Midlife and Beyond; Caregiving in Later-Life; and others. In addition, she is the former director of ASU's gerontology progam and School of Aging. She currently teaches classes in psychology and sociology, as well as the course Advanced Research Methods. She is also the internship director for social and behavioral sciences in ASU West's New College and The Washington Center internship liaison at ASU. She regularly presents to community groups on any of the above topics as well as the Myers-Briggs, stress management and other areas.
