Dr. Christopher E. Mehrens is Head of the Music Library at Arizona State University. He develops and manages the collections, services, and all aspects of operations of the Music Library and coordinates library services, collections, and programs with the ASU School of Music. In 2009, he was one of 76 librarians selected to participate in Harvard’s Leadership Institute for Academic Librarians. His research interests include music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, American music and music criticism, interdisciplinary research methods, music collection development and management, leadership and library administration, and emerging trends in music librarianship.
