Sang Eun Lee is an Assistant Teaching Professor for the School of Public Affairs at the Hainan University-Arizona State University Joint International Tourism College (HAITC) at Arizona State University. She's been teaching at ASU since 2013 and in her current position since 2019.
Prior to joining the Ph.D. program at ASU, Lee worked for the New York State House of Representatives in Albany, NY, and in the Office of the President at the State University of New York at Albany. At ASU, Lee has worked as a research associate in the Center for Science, Technology and Environmental Policy Studies (CSTEPS) and the Morrison Institute for Public Policy.
Lee teaches courses in public policy and management, human resource management, public policy analysis, and intergovernmental relations. Her research interests include human resource management, public management and performance, public sector innovation, leadership, and quantitative research methods.
