B. Blair Braden received her doctorate in behavioral neuroscience - psychology from ASU in 2012. She completed her postdoctoral fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute at St. Joseph's Hospital in Phoenix. She is an assistant professor in the College of Health Sciences and director of the Autism and Brain Aging Laboratory.
The Autism Brain Aging Laboratory is among the first to study age-related changes in adults with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) through neuropsychological evaluations and multi-modal neuroimaging. We translate cognitive and brain findings into meaningful interventions for adults with ASD. Currently, we are exploring the efficacy and neural correlates of mindfulness-based and relaxation stress reduction techniques in adults with ASD.
