Terri Miller received a master’s degree in mathematics from Arizona State University, where she did research in complex fractals (Julia Sets). She has been teaching at ASU since 1988 and has taught most first and second-year mathematics courses. Miller’s teaching focus has been in mathematics courses for students who will continue in mathematics (particularly math majors). She has served on numerous committees over the years, has run the tutoring center, and is currently in charge of hiring graders and assistants for the lower level mathematics courses. She spent many years serving as a proofreader for the mathematics journals published by the Rocky Mountain Mathematics Consortium. Miller is a recipient of the Charles Wexler Teaching Award.
