Gerald Mackulak

Biography: 

Gerald Mackulak is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Computing, Informatics and Decision Systems Engineering in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering. He has held positions with the simulation consulting firm of Pritsker & Associates, with Burroughs Corporation as the corporate MIS analyst responsible for the MRP and parts ordering systems, and with U.S. Steel as an industrial engineer. He has also served as the executive associate chair for the Department of Industrial Engineering at ASU. He has a wide range of research and consulting experience having worked with Ernst & Young, Motorola, Digital Equipment, American Express, Bechtel Corp., SGS Semiconductor and Arco Solar, to name a few. Mackulak's major research interest is in the methodological approach for producing efficient simulation models, including both model abstraction and output analysis.
